• Scripture, Art, and the Story of Redemption

Through most of Christian history, the expense of books           and low literacy meant that that the majority of

Christians engaged with the Bible through visual arts.

Music and poetry have always been a significant part of

our worship and proclamation: the Old Testament

prophets recorded their messages in poetry. Over the

summer we will explore the grand arc of redemption,

from creation and fall through crucifixion and

resurrection, through art and music, including some

hands-on creative works, exploring beauty, brokenness,

and restoration.
