Brennan Michaels is currently pursuing a Master of Music degree in Choral Conducting at Baylor University and serves as Assistant Conductor to the Baylor A Cappella Choir and Chamber Singers. In addition to his studies at Baylor, Michaels is Choirmaster at The Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit and Choral Director at Live Oak Classical School in Waco. Prior to moving to Texas, Michaels was Artistic Director of the Minneapolis based chamber choir From Age to Age, and taught high school choral music in Minnesota. In 2012 he attended the National Conductor’s Symposium in Vancouver, British Columbia, studying with Jon Washburn.
Michaels received his Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Music Education from Concordia College, Moorhead, Minnesota, where he sang with the internationally renowned Concordia Choir and studied under René Clausen and Michael Smith.
